SpellingWorks: A workbook of spelling strategies was written by Maureen Hague and Clare Harris, because they couldn’t find the spelling book they were looking for. Maureen is doing other (non-writing) things now, but Clare is still writing. You can find her ESL Extras books at The Book Next Door, or at her personal website.

The book was published by Heinemann, but now falls under the Pearson Education banner. When it went out of print, Pearson were kind enough to allow us to put the pdf online as a free download, and Shane also agreed. Huge thanks!!
